This page explains what information The Hunters Report (thehuntersreport.com) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Hunters Report is run by BizWac LLC. When this page says “we” or “us,” it means The Hunters Report and BizWac LLC.
Information you give us
We only get personal information from you when you choose to send it, such as when you fill out a form:
- Contact form: your name, email, the topic you pick, and your message.
- Tell Us Your Hunt form: your name, email, where you hunted, what you hunted, your story, and any gear you list.
We use this information to read and answer your message. We do not sell it.
Hunt stories you send us
If you send us a hunt story and we post it, your story and your first name will be public on this site. We will not post your email address. We may fix spelling or shorten a story, but we keep your words and your story. If you want a story taken down later, contact us and we will remove it.
Information collected on its own
Like most websites, this site collects some information on its own when you visit:
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, how they found the site, and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics uses cookies and gives us totals and trends. It does not tell us your name. Google’s use of this data is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Our web host. Our web host (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages visited, to keep the site running and safe.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links on The Hunters Report are affiliate links. When you click one and go to a store, that store or its affiliate network may place a cookie in your browser. The cookie lets them know you came from our site, so they can pay us a small fee if you buy something. This doesn’t cost you anything extra. Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with the services that help us run this site, such as our web host and Google Analytics, or if the law requires us to.
Your choices
- You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
- You can stop Google Analytics from counting your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- You can ask us what information we have from you, or ask us to delete it, by using our contact page.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
